We would like to offer a service to those members of New Hope that have been advised to limit their exposure due to the Coronavirus, but who still have basic essential needs for groceries and supplies. We are going to pool our resources to do your shopping for you and deliver these to your door for you, to help keep you safe. This will also be a way for our youth group and other healthy members the chance to participate in the blessing of seeing God be a Deliverer to you. We will attempt to start this service starting this weekend. See details below if you would like to volunteer or have a need.

 

Make a list of the basics that you need right now and send via e-mail to im@jeaux.com before 7pm Monday-Friday (first attempt at this will be this Friday by 7pm). In the e-mail, provide your name, home address, what times you will be home the following day and how they can best get the delivery to you (porch, public area in your residence complex, etc.). We will arrange for someone to go grocery shopping for you and deliver these to you. We will be providing gift cards in $50 increments to the shoppers to cover the cost. If you want to and have the means, you can contribute to the gift cards, but don’t feel like you have to. 

 

Please send an e-mail to clete.ross@nhchurch.net and let him know your availability during the week or on weekends to do the shopping and what grocery stores are closest to you. We will be providing $50 gift cards to shoppers for several of the local grocery stores (Walmart, Crest, Aldi, etc.) and will try to find a way to reimburse the gas as well.
